How do I cancel my reservation if I book directly with the hotel?

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call + 852 2986 9990 and inform us at least 3 days prior to check-in (local time) and an additional fee equal to 10% of room rate will be charged for cancellation.

If you cancel the reservation within 3 days before arrival, the full room rate will be charged. If you have reserved the rooms from other channels, please contact the agent directly.

Any special arrangement during adverse weather?

With the announcement of a black rainstorm warning, the hoisting of typhoon signal No. 8 by the Hong Kong Observatory and cancellation of Sun Ferry on day of arrival, guests would be allowed to postpone or cancel the reservation.

For direct booking with the hotel, do I have to pay up-front for the room reservation?

Full room charges will be charged at the time of reservation.

I tried to make a reservation online but the transaction failed to complete. What should I do?

Our hotel reservation system supports credit card for payment. Please verify your credit card details or enter a different credit card to make the reservation. If you are still unable to complete the transaction online, please call the hotel hotline at +852 2986 9990 for assistance with your reservation.

Can a person who will not be staying in the hotel room pay for a room reservation?

Yes. A non-hotel Guests can make a hotel reservation online and pay by credit card. For any enquiry, please call the hotel hotline at +852 2986 9990.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Our standard check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.

Is early check-in available?

Check-in prior to the standard check-in time is not guaranteed. An extra one night room fee will be charged for guaranteed check-in before 3:00pm.

Is late check-out available?

If you wish to extend the check-out time, an additional fee $60-120 per hour will be charged for extension before 2:00pm, and an additional fee equal to the full room rate for checking-out after 2:00pm. Advance reservation is required. On-day late check-out request will be subject to room situation and an additional fee will be charged based on the latest room rate. 

Can I bring my pet?

Lychee Sunset Hotel does not provided pet-friendly rooms.

Do you have non-smoking/ smoking rooms?

Hotel has been 100% Smoke-Free since 2018. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all indoor areas of hotel, including guest rooms, lobbies, and common areas. Hotel reserves the right to charge an additional fee for cleaning where ban is disregarded in order to cover the extensive cost of restoring guest rooms to a smoke-free condition. A Designated Smoking Area is provided outside the building. Please ask our Front Desk staff for the location of our Designated Smoking Area.

Can I request for a baby cot?

We regret that there is no baby cot provided.

Does the hotel provide an Internet access?

Wi-Fi is available in hotel area.

Can I have barbecue in hotel area?

Barbecue is not allowed at hotel area.

Is there a swimming pool in the hotel?

We regret that there is no swimming pool in the hotel.

Is there a gym room in the hotel?

We regret that there is no gym room in the hotel.

Does the hotel provide free international adaptor?

Yes, it is subject to availability and has to be returned upon departure from the hotel

Are there laundry services available at the hotel?

We provide laundry and pressing services for our guests. Please contact us for more details on prices.

Can I request for special arrangement for my birthday or anniversary celebration?

We can arrange cakes, bouquet flowers and decorations. Fees will be applied and subject to your preference. Please contact us for more details on prices and other arrangement.

Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?

Yes, we will be happy to keep your luggage at the hotel for free before check-in or after check-out. Hotel will not be responsible for loss of items.

How can I get to the hotel from the airport?

Guests may take the airport express line and get off the Hong Kong station through Exit E. Then walk 600 meters along Man Yiu` Street until you reach the Ferry Pier. From the Central Outlying Island Ferry Pier no. 5, you may choose the 35-minute fast ferry or 55-minute ordinary ferry to reach this wonderful island. Only a 5-minute walk from Cheung Chau’s main pier will get you to our heart-warming reception.
